SAIL conducted an auction for 4,900 t of basic grade pig iron on 10 May ’21 from its Rourkela Steel Plant, Odisha. Entire quantity was booked at INR 37,800/t exw, sources reported to SteelMint. Bid price moved up by INR 350/t compared to the previous auction conducted on 30 April which was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 37,450/t exw.
