Vizag Steel Plant conducted two auctions for 1,050 t of pooled iron and 750 t of pig iron on 3 Jan’22. Buyers booked the entire quantity of pooled iron at a weighted average price of INR 36,000/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 450/t compared with the previous auction on 28 Dec. Buyers booked the total pig iron on offer at a weighted average price of INR 39,000/t exw.
