SAIL held an auction for 4,000 t (two rakes) of steel grade pig iron on 8 Dec’21 from the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) in Jharkhand. Buyers booked both the lots at INR 35,550/t and 36,000/t exw. Bid prices decreased by INR 3,850/t compared to the previous auction on 17 Nov. At the previous auction, 4,000 t of pig iron had been booked at INR 39,600/t exw.
