Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has witnessed a decrease in bid prices in the auction held on 31 May’22 supported by an increase in coal offered for sale. This was the second auction held in the month. Prices for G7, G8 and G10 grades decreased by INR 957-1,360/t from the previous sales. Overall, bid premiums were 60% higher than the reserve price which was at 99% in the earlier auction held in May.
