India: Barbil pellet prices fall sharply in recent trade

Pellet prices in Odisha’s Barbil decreased sharply this week, as per SteelMint reports.

• The current assessment of iron ore pellets (Fe 63%) in Barbil, Odisha stands at INR 7,250/t loaded on to wagon, down by INR 750/t against 3 June’22.
• Deals of 16,000 t of pellets were recorded at INR 7,500/t in the present assessment period.
• Prices in Durgapur fell by INR 500/t to INR 7,500/t exw amidst limited trade activities.
