India: Bid prices edge up at SAIL’s RSP pig iron auction

  • SAIL held an auction for 4,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 15 July from Rourkela Steel Plant.
  • Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 46,965/t exw.
  • Prices are higher by INR 245/t compared to previous auction.
