Bhavnagar ship breaking HMS scrap prices opened at the same level of 23,300/MT. Prices are unchanged from 20th July, the last change was seen on 19th July when prices moved up by Rs 100/MT.
Rolling plate cutting scrap suppliers offered Scrap of 4 ANI plate at Rs 24,000/MT, 6 ANI at Rs 24,900/MT both are down by Rs 100/MT from Saturday. However, prices of 12 ANI remained unchanged and at present are offered at Rs 26,100/MT.
“Prices are fluctuating in the range of Rs 100-300/MT these days for ship breaking scrap. It is expected to hold the same pattern in the coming days as well”, stated a trader based in Alang.
