Sponge iron prices in Karnataka’s Bellary declined by INR 100-200/t in today’s trade. Current offers for sponge C-DRI stand at INR 30,500/t ($411), down by INR 100/t d-o-d. However 1,000 t of C-DRI deals were reported by local manufacturers. About 3,500 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 28,600-28,800/t as against offers at INR 28,900-29,000/t exw-Bellary.
