- Bharat Aluminium Company (BALCO) decreased prices of primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) by INR 15,500/t ($203/t) as against 15 Mar’22. The effective price stands at INR 285,000/t ($3,735/t) exw.
- The closing price for the three-month aluminium futures on LME stood at $3,277/t on 15 Mar as against $3,319/t the day before.
- The company has a production capacity of around 0.6 mnt per annum and accounts for 15% market share.
