India: Balco, Hindalco, Nalco hikes aluminium ingots prices by up to INR 20,000/t ($266/t)

Bharat Aluminium Company (Balco) and Hindustan Aluminium Corporation Limited (Hindalco) have raised primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices sharply by INR 18,250/t ($242/t) d-o-d today.
On the other hand, National Aluminium Company Limited (Nalco) has raised prices by INR 20,000/t ($266/t) as against prices on 17-Feb’22.
Post-revision, Balco’s effective price stands at INR 305,000/t ($4,052/t) exw, while Hindalco’s price stands at INR 302,250/t ($4,016/t) exw. Nalco’s effective price stands at INR 300,700/t ($3,999/t) exw.
