Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Limited (ASAL), an auto parts manufacturer, held an auction for 1,200 t of CR, HR coated mix scrap from its Pune plant and 1,000 t of same grade material from Pantnagar, Uttarakhand on 26 Jul’22. Buyers booked 1,200 t material at around INR 46,100/t exw while 1,000 t was sold at INR 49,000/t exw. SteelMint’s assessment for CR busheling scrap prices in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab stands at around INR 48,000/t FOR.
