India: Buyers book 2,200 t of HR-CR punching scrap at ASAL’s auction

Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Ltd (ASAL) had conducted an auction for HR-CR punching scrap from its Panthnagar-Uttarakhand and Pune-Maharashtra plant on fourth week of Jan’24. About 1,200 t was booked at INR 35,300/t exw from Pune unit and around 1,000 t same grade scrap got bids at INR 39,800/t exw from Panthnagar, sources informed.
