An auto component manufacturer in western India conducted two auctions on 28 Nov’22 for around 1,920 t of CR punching scrap from Pune-Maharashtra units. As per updates received from sources, Mahindra & Mahindra track components Limited booked 720 t of CR-HR punching scrap at INR 38,800/t ex-work. In another auction from Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Limited (ASAL), received the bids of 1,200 t of punching scrap at INR 38,450/t ex-work.
