Around 25,000 t of Australian 5500 NAR grade coal was sold at INR 16,000/t ex-Vizag today as against INR 17,700/t last week. Indian cement manufacturers are back importing Australian coal due to comparatively lower prices versus coal from other destinations. About 1.21 mn t of coal is set to arrive at various Indian ports between 26 Oct and 16 Nov’21, CoalMint data shows.
