In a confirmed deal, 14,000 t of Australian 4600 kcal/kg NAR grade coal was sold at INR 14,250/t at Mundra Port. Amid tight domestic supply, several coal-consuming units including a few imported-coal-based power plants were heard procuring Australian coal. A total of 0.5 mnt Australian coal-laden vessels are set to arrive at Indian ports between 25 May-21 June, CoalMint data revealed.
