Domestic steel prices have shot up by INR 2,500/t and another INR 500-700/t hike is likely, maintains V.R. Sharma, MD, JSPL. Robust domestic demand since second week of July and strong export prices are supporting price rally and the industry is well positioned to absorb iron ore price rise. JSPL is on track to achieving 7.5 mn t of production in FY21, he believes.
