India: AM/NS increases galvanised coil prices by up to INR 6,000/t ($79/t)

Private integrated steel producer ArcelorMittal-Nippon Steel India (AM/NS) has increased list prices of galvanised plain coil (GPC) sharply by INR 6,000/t ($79/t) from 1 Apr’22. Elevated prices of feed materials and substrate HRC have fuelled the hike.

• GPC (0.8mm, 80gsm): INR 92,000-93,000/t ($1,219-1,232/t)
• PPGI (0.5mm, 90gsm): INR 100,000-101,000/t ($1,325-1,338/t)
• Prices are basic and and on exy-Mumbai basis, excluding GST at 18%.
