India’s domestic aluminium scrap prices remained stable d-o-d despite a marginal rise of 0.31% in LME futures, while semi-finished aluminium prices remained steady. Tense scrap prices were recorded at INR 161,000/t ($1,945/t), while utensil grade prices were at INR 172,000/t ($2,078/t), both ex-yard and excluding GST. Furthermore, scrap prices were stable though the primary aluminium makers reduced ingots prices.
