Chinese HRC, CRC prices fall by up to RMB 50/t ($7/t) d-o-d

China’s domestic CRC prices fell by RMB 50/t ($7/t) and HRC by RMB 40/t ($6/t) d-o-d today. Current offers:

• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,800/t ($696/t)
• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,270/t ($619/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin, including 13% VAT.

SHFE HRC futures for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,357/t ($632/t), down RMB 110/t ($16/t) d-o-d.
