Aluminium scrap prices jumped INR 2,000/t on limited availability of specific grades. Trade participants mostly sellers saw slow scrap accumulation in most of the yards, particularly of utensils and extrusion, which is encouraging them to keep offers at the higher levels despite fluctuations in exchange prices. However, most buyers were still seen procuring the raw material to continue smooth operations at their mills, SteelMint learned.
