Imported aluminium scrap prices into India rose as future prices at major exchanges (MCX, SHFE, and LME) inched up. Transactions have improved compared to the past 2-3 weeks. Furthermore, the availability of common grades like extrusion, wheels, and utensils in some markets is less due to slow accumulation in Middle East scrap yards, sources said. Indian importers expect near-term scrap prices to remain supportive.
