India: Aluminium production remains largely stable m-o-m in August

India’s aluminium production by the primary producers in Aug’22 remained stable m-o-m. The primary players recorded production at 342,000 t in Aug against 343,000 t in Jul. Company-wise, Vedanta recorded production at 145,000 t in Aug as against 146,000 t in Jul, while Hindalco’s production rose to 112,000 t versus 111,000 t in Jul. Balco’s output remained stable at 47,000 t, while Nalco’s production stood at 38,000 t versus 39,000 t in Jul.
