India: Adani Cement partners with Coolbrook, ABB to deploy electric clinker heating technology at Boyareddypalli plant

Coolbrook and ABB have begun industrial-scale deployment of the RotoDynamic Heater (RDH) at Adani Cement’s Boyareddypalli plant, replacing part of fossil fuel-based process heat with electric heating. The project is expected to reduce around 60,000 tonnes per year of CO2 emissions, increase alternative fuel utilisation, and demonstrate the commercial viability of electrified clinker production for the Indian cement industry.
