India: About 10,000 t sponge iron deals concluded to Nepal

Three rakes of (7,500 t) sponge iron were concluded at $435-440/t LTW – eastern India, equivalent to $455-460/t CPT Nepal (FeM 79-80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%).
Also, 2,500 t of premium grade (FeM 81-82) sponge iron deals were confirmed at $460/t LTW from Odisha belt, equivalent to $480/t CPT Nepal.
With these fresh deals, SteelMint’s price assessment increased by $15/t, w-o-w to $463/t, CPT Nepal, (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%).
