Steel wire rod demand remained active in Raipur market with suppliers getting adequate booking orders. Today, around 7,000 t deals were concluded in the spot market by Raipur and Raigarh suppliers at the price range of INR 53,200-53,600/t exw and FOR basis. Market sentiments remained positive with the sharp rise in raw material prices in key markets, resulting in active procurement.
