SAIL conducted an auction for 700 t of silico manganese (0-3mm, 3-10mm) on 4 Mar’22 from the Chandrapur Ferro Alloys Plant in Maharashtra. The entire quantity was booked at a high price due to rising prices of manganese alloys in the domestic market. Buyers had booked 500 t of silico manganese (Mn 52%, 0-3mm) at INR 60,020/t exw at the previous auction held on 12 Feb.
