SAIL conducted an auction for around 1,500 t of silico manganese (0-3mm, 0-10 mm, and 3-10mm) on 2 Dec’21 from the Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. As per sources, buyers booked 200 t of silico manganese (Mn-52%, 0-3mm) at INR 60,000/t. Silico (Mn-56% 3-10mm) fetched bids at INR 77,800/t exw, SteelMint learnt from sources.
