India: 10,500 t pig iron booked at SAIL-BSP auction

SAIL conducted an auction today for 10,500 t of basic grade pig iron from Bhilai Steel Plant. Buyers booked the entire quantity at an average price of INR 46,960/t exw, sources informed SteelMint.
At the company’s previous auction held on 17 June for 10,500 t of similar grade material, bookings had been concluded at INR 43,100/t exw.
