Hoa Phat Group has reported the successful commencement of blast furnace No.3 on 24 Aug’20 which will allow the steelmaker to supply hot-rolled coil (HRC) products to the market from the end of Sep’20. The HRC mill can produce 3.5 mn t pa. Also, the company expects blast furnace No. 4 to start operations in early 2021. With all its 4 blast furnaces, the company’s crude steel output would reach over 5 mn t pa.
