Heavy structural steel prices increased by INR 500/t in Raipur d-o-d today. Current offers for 150mm channels stand at INR 55,000/t exw. Increase in semi-finished steel prices in the northern region in late hours of yesterday and slight improvement in structural steel buying enquiries encouraged manufacturers to increase their offers. Today, trade discounts are hovering at around INR 1,500-1,700/t.
