Heavy structural steel prices remain stable d-o-d in Raipur. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 55,000/t exw. A sharp decline in steel billet prices and sluggish purchase enquiries for structural steel forced manufacturers to offer higher trade discounts due to selling pressure and rising inventories at mills. Trade discounts are hovering around INR 1,500-1,700/t.
