Godawari Power & Ispat Limited – largest pellet manufacturer in Central India with pellet capacity of 1.8 MnT pa has hiked pellet offers today.
The pellet maker is currently offering Fe 63% grade pellets at INR 4,900/MT (basic). Trade sources mentioned that the pellet maker also executed deals of around 5,000 MT pellets at INR 4,850/MT (basic) following which it has raised offers.
However other central India based pellet makers are heard offering pellets at INR 4,700/MT (basic). Market participants shared that they may also follow the suit.
Rising P-DRI prices have pulled up pellet offers. P-DRI prices in Raipur have gone up by INR 400/MT W-o-W and are currently seen hovering at INR 14,650-700/MT (ex-plant).
