Department of Mines & Geology (DMG), Government of Goa has put up lots for 16th iron ore e-auction. The auction is scheduled on 04 Oct’16.
Total quantity to be auctioned is 1.88 MnT via 51 lots. Out of the total quantity to be auctioned, 1.48 MnT is ROM, 0.31 MnT is fines and 0.09 MnT is lump.
Previous e-auction (i.e 15th) was held on 27 Apr’16, in which only 0.55 MnT ore was sold, out of 2.11 MnT iron ore.
Since Feb’14 Goan government has conducted 15 e-auctions so far, in which 8.78 MnT iron ore has been sold. Thus, the state government is left with about 7.36 MnT iron ore to be sold.
