Global Seaborne Export of Silico Manganese, Down in CY’16

According to the data released by customs, the export of silico manganese by major countries has decreased by 3% in CY’16 with exports totaled to 1.9 MnT against 2 MnT in CY’15. The imports of Silico Manganese increased 1% in CY’16 as the country imported 1.66 MnT as comparted to 1.65 MnT imports in CY’15.

Exporting Countries

Ukraine:
Ukraine one of major exporters of Silico Manganese, exported 0.61 MnT during CY’16, reporting an increase of 12% in its exports as compared to CY’15 where the country exported around 0.54 MnT.

India:
India, exported 0.62 MnT in CY’16 with a change of 19 % downwards in its exports from CY’15 where the country exported 0.77 MnT of Silico Manganese.

Norway:
The country’s exports of Silico Manganese moved up 4% in CY’16 as they exported 0.31 MnT. And they had exported 0.29 MnT in CY’15.

Georgia:
Georgia exported 0.22 MnT of Silico Manganese in CY’16. The exports in CY’16 increased by 11% from CY’15 exports where the country exported 0.20 MnT.

Netherlands:
Netherlands exports for Silico Manganese registered a downward movement of 6% as the country exported 0.17 MnT in CY’16 as compared to 0.18 MnT export in CY’15.

Importing Countries–

• The USA saw upward movement of 30% in its imports of Silico Manganese after importing 0.28 MnT in CY’16 in lieu of 0.21 MnT import in CY’15.
• Japan, imports of Silico Manganese remained stable as 0.26 MnT in CY’16 and 0.26 MnT in CY’15
• Germany imports of Silico Manganese decreased 8% as the country imported 0.23 MnT in CY’16 and 0.25 MnT in CY’15.
• Russia, importer of Silico Manganese with a decrease of 10% in their imports in CY’16 as they imported 0.22 MnT as compared to CY’15 imports amounting 0.24 MnT.
• Import of Silico Manganese in Turkey were down by 2% for CY’16 as they imported around 0.213 MnT as compared to 0.216 MnT import in CY’2015.
• Netherlands imported 0.16 MnT in CY’16 dipping 17% as the country imported 0.20 MnT of Silico Manganese in CY’15.
• The imports of Silico manganese in Italy increased by 10% in CY’16, the country imported around 0.16 MnT as compared to the import of 0.15 MnT in CY’15.
• Taiwan imported 0.12 MnT of Silico manganese in CY’16 registering a growth of 21% as 0.10 MnT was imported in CY’15.
