Chinese HRC export offers remain firm this week. However domestic prices have inched up this week on steady demand.
Currently HRC export offers from China is assessed around USD 480/MT FoB basis.However last week the offers was in similar range only.
Meanwhile prices of HRC in the domestic market decline by RMB 20-30/MT on weekly basis and presently domestic HRC is assessed around at RMB 3,670-3,680MT (ex-works) in Eastern China.
Imported HRC offers to Vietnam remain stable.
Vietnam imported HRC offers have remained majorly stable against beginning of this week. Less trades were reported as many participants have not yet returned after holidays.
Current HRC trade offers to Vietnam – Week 2, 2019
1.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer- Rizhao Steel is at USD 480/MT CFR Vietnam. Last offer was at USD 490/MT, CFR.
2.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Baosteel is at USD 492/MT CFR Vietnam, stable against last assessment.
3.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer – Wisco is at USD 490/MT CFR Vietnam.
4.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm/ Russian offer – MMK steel is at USD 470/MT CFR Vietnam.
5.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm /Indian offer – Indian mills are heard offering at USD 480/MT CFR Vietnam. A deal for 20,000t HRC was reported at USD 480/MT, CFR for January shipment
CIS HRC export offers weaken – HRC export offers from CIS nations have come down to USD 440-460/MT, FOB Black Sea.
