Global aluminium production rises 3% m-o-m in Dec’23

According to data from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), global aluminium production increased by 3.3% to 6.041 mnt in Dec’23 from 5.85 mnt in Nov. China was the top producer, with 3.565 mnt, accounting for over 59% of global output. Global production was also up 2.10% y-o-y as against 5.919 mnt in Dec’22.
