Global aluminium production largely stable m-o-m in Jan’23

World’s aluminium production remained largely stable m-o-m with a negligible drop of 0.34% to 5.83 mnt in Jan’23 against 5.85 mnt in Dec’22, as per data from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI).
China was the largest producer at 3.44 mnt, contributing to around 59% of world’s aluminium output.
On a y-o-y basis, production increased by 3.37% from 5.64 mnt in Jan’22.
