- Brazil’s manganese ore exports registered a significant 211% m-o-m rise to 162,230 t in Jan’23 against 53,212 t in Dec’22, as per customs data.
- This rise was mainly attributed to robust demand from China. Exports to China stood at 110,423, higher by around 120%. This was followed by Latvia at 49,667 t.
- On y-o-y basis, export volumes rose by a whopping 384% compared to 33,538 t in Jan’22.
