Global aluminium production falls around 10% m-o-m in Feb’22

• World’s primary aluminium production fell by around 10% in Feb’22 to 5.11 mnt against 5.70 mnt in Jan’22, as per estimated figures released by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI).
• China emerged as the world’s largest producer with an estimated 2.95 mnt. However, the volumes fell by 10.3% m-o-m, as per data compiled by SteelMint.
