EU extends anti-dumping duties on aluminum household foil imports from China

The European Commission extended anti-dumping duties on imports of aluminium household foil from China for another five years.
This decision was taken after an investigation showed that dumping by Chinese exporters continued despite the measures in place.
The anti-dumping duties will remain at their current level i.e. between 6.4% to 30%.
The EU consumes Euro 200 million worth of aluminium household foil annually and is an attractive market for China.
