Constant demand worries prevailing in domestic market has hit secondary structure market this week. Structure prices of all sizes have slumped steeply by INR 500-1,100/MT across major markets.
Central India based manufacturers are facing major setback on the backdrop of lull trading activities as well as persistently declining raw material prices. Angle, beam and channel prices here have dipped by INR 1,100/MT.
Heavy and light structure offers in western market have corrected by INR 600-800/MT, followed by eastern and southern markets (-500).
Current 100*100 mm angle offers are prevailing at INR 26,100/MT in Durgapur, INR 26,000/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 23,500/MT in Raipur and INR 26,000/MT in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, 200*75 channel is available at INR 26,100/MT in Durgapur, INR 28,800/MT in Ghaziabad, INR 26,200/MT in Ahmedabad, INR 26,800/MT in Mumbai and INR 24,000/MT in Raipur.
Heavy structure, 200*100 beam is offered in Gaziabad at INR 28,300/MT and Raipur at INR 23,500/MT.
