Crude steel output at Chinese mills continues to decline in early July – CISA data

In early Jul’22, the average daily output of crude steel at CISA-affiliated mills was 2.07 mnt, while the average daily output of key steel enterprises was 1.97 mnt, up 0.52% y-o-y. As per CISA data, the average daily output of pig iron was 1.91 mnt at key mills in early-Jul, down 2.09% m-o-m and up 2.98% y-o-y.
