Coal stocks at power plants in China are expected to exceed 150 mn t by the end of Nov’21, according to state planner NDRC. At present, the cumulative stock has reached 143 mn t as on 20 Nov, sufficient to be used for 23 days. The average daily coal supply to power plants has reached 8.1 mn t, an increase of 30% on the year.
