Prices of silico manganese for the 60-14 grade in China fell by RMB 400-600/t ($63-94/t) in the major producing hubs of Guizhou and Inner Mongolia owing to dull demand. The current transaction price for 60-14 is hovering at RMB 7400-7650/t ($1,160-1,200/t) exw in both the provinces. Chinese silico manganese producers are being forced to cut production amidst rising costs and poor demand.
