The forward E-auction of coal being conducted by Coal India Limited (CIL) for long term coal supply to captive power plants(CPP) has seen overwhelming response.
During the first five days of the auction 13 MnT of coal was booked out of the total quantity of 18 MnT offered. Indications of the entire quantity to be booked are rife with three more days left for culmination of the auction.
