CIL Cancels Coal E-auction to Non Power Consumers on 16-18 Jun’16

In a latest development, Coal India Limited (CIL) has cancelled the Exclusive E-auction of coal, scheduled during 16 to 18 Jun’16, for non-power consumers, including captive power plants (CPP).

In a notification issued today, the state-run miner has cited unavoidable reasons as the basis for the cancellation of the auction.

CIL has offered 2 MnT of coal for the E-auction.
