Spot Iron ore prices in China have moved up by 2% today. Fe 62% fines are at USD 60.1/MT, CFR China.
Uptrend in Spot Iron ore prices continued today also. Iron ore buying by the Chinese steel mills to increase production led to increase in prices.
Prices started weakening in beginning of Mar’15 and the downtrend continued till first half of Apr’15. Prices started improving in the 2nd half of Apr’15 and have continued so far.
