Today, the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) saw a rise of RMB 20 ($3). The billet transactions were moderate, while finished steel prices started softening. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,610/t ($550/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
