Today the billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) witnessed a drop of RMB 10 ($3) against yesterday. The billet transactions were moderate, while finished steel prices inched up. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,800/t ($588/t) in Tangshan, including 13 % VAT.
