China’s Top-7 Crude Steel Producing Provinces in Jan-Nov’21

Hebei was the largest crude steel producing province in China in Jan-Nov’21 with 204.3 million tonnes (mn t). But, compared to last year, Hebei’s production fell by 11% y-o-y. Jiangsu is the second-largest crude steel-producing province with 109.2 mn t followed by Shandong province in third place with 70 mnt, down 4% y-o-y. It is to be noted that China’s total crude steel production in Jan-Nov’21 was at 946.4 mn t, down 3% y-o-y.
